Holy Unction

Unction is the rite of anointing the sick with oil, or the laying on of hands, by which God's grace is given for the healing of spirit, mind, and body.

The first Sunday of each month includes a healing service with laying on of hands and annointing of Holy Oil at the conclusion of the 10:00 AM Holy Eucharist.

If you are in the hospital please contact Father Mead, and he will visit you in the hospital and bring you Holy Communion and give you Holy Unction. If you know you are going to have a medical procedure and you would like to be annointed with holy oil, receive the laying on of hands, be put on the parish prayer list, and be visited in the hospital, please contact Father Mead.
