Mission and outreach is made possible through financial support and time given by volunteers. Our annual budget includes lots of money that supports outreach and mission. The budget makes sure the church is open, staffed, and maintained as a safe and friendly place for all to meet. Without an open and staffed church, Christians cannot meet for prayer and worship and groups (such as AA) cannot meet regularly.

All money given to Good Shepherd helps to support our local mission and presence in Granite Springs and the larger Westchester Community. Your donation helps keep us open and helps to support the specific outreach projects at Good Shepherd.

All money given to Good Shepherd helps to support the mission and outreach efforts of the Diocese of New York: did you know that half of the annual assessment sent to the Diocese goes directly to supporting congregations in dire need? For example, because almost half of our assement is directed to the Diocesan Congregational Support Plan (which is just one of many Diocesan outreach programs), your donation to Good Shepherd is helping to support such churches as Saint Anne's Church in the South Bronx.

All the outreach efforts that we do can only be done when we have a balanced budget, and we can only balance our budget with the pledged support of our members and friends.
